Producer and film score composer Matti Cupelli shares resonant new track ‘Mono No Aware’

Mattia Cupelli is an Italian ambient-electronic producer and film score composer. Today he releases a  ‘Mono No Aware’ – the latest in his prolific body of work.

No stranger to the spotlight, Cupelli has released numerous works for film scores. He has already racked up over 25 million plays on Youtube and over 10 million Spotify streams and he is featured on the soundtrack for the popular video game Remothered: Tormented Fathers.

His new track ‘Mono No Aware’ is based around the Japanese concept by the same name. It describes an awareness of impermanence, the bittersweet feeling of seeing things change – and the human realisation that we too are as transient. The track also  features the use of a Japanese flute  or Shakuhachi.

A beautifully ambient offering ‘Mono No Aware’ is full-bodied and resonant. Cupelli is a master at creating atmosphere and texture, and the mood of the track speaks for itself. Listen below:
